Despite avoiding half of this season like the plague, I got chills when the Glee Club won that award. ALMOST cried (that didn’t come until the freaking preview for next week). The show has suffered terribly, but dammit, give me something to follow, and I will. It wasn’t about the characters, it’s about acceptance, and following something through from beginning to end is probably the most gratifying feeling in the world because you know that you have been through it all. 

To sum it up, I guess, it’s not the characters that these people play, and it’s not the plot that brings it together, it’s the inspiring thought that people can really make a difference in their own lives and to others, and even outside of the fictional Glee world, that some kids from around the country and even outside of it could audition for this show and become a part of one of the most enlightening moments of the series. Everybody can have dreams, but what’s important is that you make them a reality. This is the Glee that I fell in love with (even if it becomes dopey-Oprah-self-help-talk).
